Diaryland is kinda a neat name. It makes me think of dairy land every time I see it. Of course it could get you thinking about something else…

Went to the final show of the Empty Bottle's "Jazz and Improvised Music Festival" last night. It was a very good show. I will post a link my review of it when it becomes available.

My favorite song verse comes at the beginning of Neil Young's "I'm the Ocean":

I'm an accident
I was driving way too fast
Couldn't stop though
So I let the moment last

The song is from 1995's Mirror Ball that Young did with Pear Jam. You can read the rest of the lyrics at hyperrust. Yeah they group the first 8 lines together as one verse but keep in mind that printed lyrics in the disc's booklet don't give any sort of

space distinctions. It is all one line after another so, IMHO, I'm not out of line in grouping together the first 4 lines and calling them a verse.

It has become hot and somewhat humid in Chicago. I don't like that at all. Give me below freezing and no snow 12 months a year.

I forgot to mention in my first entry that I am 24 years old.

That, I think, is all.
