2002-01-12 (Saturday) - 7:12 p.m.

This may sound pitiful, and perhaps it is, but I spent most of today in the office doing work and had one of my best Saturdays in Chicago in long time. I haven't thought about killing myself at all today and that is a good feeling.

I used to mock people who said they needed to work. Part of me still feels it is quite pitiful that people want their lives to be centered around work but maybe I am pitiful.
