You know my September 8 log titled “old glory” is a rather interesting, albeit brief, read  in light of what has happened since then!

But one thing it wasn’t was percipient. The more I think about it, the more the outbreak of the current wave of pro-domination patriotism shouldn’t have surprised me. Lots of people are always looking for an enemy and have no intention of letting a little bit of thought get in the way.
