2002-01-31 (Thursday) - 1:13 p.m.

I awoke this morning to the sound of snow being shoveled. There is a lot of of snow ball material in Chicago now and of course people are complaing about it.

If you have a dog and there is snow outside, I recommend taking the dog out. He or she will enjoy it.

I haven’t been updating this log much because the old format of several updates on most days was too time consuming to serve the two or three people who visit on most days. It also might have been too taxing in absolute terms since it was taking me away from other things that I would rather do.

But don’t worry, this isn’t the end of the log. I am trying to figure out a new way to do it that will make both my readers and me happy.
